Halo Darka is Christian Löffler, born in Bensheim, Germany and lived in Portugal until the age of 26. Music soon started to be a presence in his life and that has got reflected in his way and behaviour along the time. There was always a sound, more or less organic, classic, alternative, world music or, of course, electronic, pumping, groovey, acid, techy, underground! He believes that always existed and will exist a soundtrack for each single moment of our lives! Driven by ambition and with new projects in hands, at the end of 2008 moved on to his country.
Portugal, homeland of The Underground Sound of Lisbon, and worldwide top DJs as DJ Vibe, Carlos Manaca, Zé Miguel, Frank Maurel, Pete Tha Zouk, just to name a few, is also one of the great poles where Iberican Sound comes from, and a worldwide referenced club scene. From North to South, a place with awsome party people, awsome clubs with awsome soundsystems. And this has been Halo Darka's Stage and where he has recently celebrated Seven Years DeeJaying.
Fresh Fruit - name to a promo released by Dance Club Magazine, mixed by Carlos Manaca, got him influenced, and made him fan. In such a way that from then, started for good on his quest. Selected and mixed several promos, as "Drums'n'Passion", "This is a Mix by Halo Darka for Dance Club", "Halo Darka", "Route to Lisbon", "AfterHours - mixed live by Halo Darka", and most recently the last session in Portugal "Halo Darka - UnderGround!" A rework version for one of the greatest tech-house anthems of ever, also has his signature, from A.Paul - Da Funk (Unreleased Halo Darka Rework). Mixes that brought him the deserved support and recognition and made him reach the stage he is today. In Lisbon was resident in clubs such as Amo-te Chiado and Amo-te Tejo.
Accross the country he's joined severeal clubs, as Casa do Cais in Peniche, where he was one of the resident DJs and shared the Decks with some of the Greatest Portuguese DJs as Diego Miranda, Mark Voxx, Peter Look, Rod Da Phunk. As a free lancer, in the mean time, performed in many other clubs, from Lisbon to Oporto.
Driven by emotion, as well as eclecticism, the Underground has been his path and scene in all means, since the very first moment. The name Halo Darka itself referes to that. His Charisma, Image and contagious Great Humor, hardly let the people indefferent, as in the booth he´s always pushing, twisting, dancing, and shaking the crowd and with the crowd, making each of his sessions memorable partys.
Now and then, night fan. Unlike those who rule themselves by the catch "Carpe Diem", smiles when he says he preferes "Carpe Noctem." The night, the music, the rhythm, the bass, the lights, the bodies, the party. In his sessions we get into a trip without destination set, though always aspiring to go a little further.
Strongly found of doing things with and for the Passion, always carried this Ideal and got his catch well known - Passion Is Not Fashion! - No matter what, when, where or with who, everything we do, shall it be always with passion and for the passion only! Not just because it's a cool thing to do, a Fashion Job, or because it might bring us fame, glory or fortune! DJ is not an easy way to get layed!
Once in Germany, the challenge's become even greater. Packed with his knowledge based on Iberican Sound, Portuguese Underground Scene, and a little on Nordic Electronic, to cross his influences with the very own German Sound will concist a major goal and propose,to which he's got all invested!
Always supported by The Best and Greatest Friends, to whom Halo Darka dedicates his success, he is thankful to all them as well as to all those others who have showed sincere respect and appreciation for his work and struggle.

E depois de ouvir-mos aquele advert na Radio XPTO (tantas de norte a sul, atenxao isto nao é criticar as radios) pomo-nos no nosso mercedes, com as nossas caras metade, amigos e malta fixe... e colocamo-nos dentro desses spots que dizem trazer o tal dito "Novo Conceito da Noite e... E depois??? Depois Nada...
"Senhores e Senhoras, benvindos ao Novo Conceito... hoje teremos Macacas Danxarinas, pulgas amestradas, teremos tambem 6 Camelos (nao sao os seguranxas que esses as vezes sao fixes e da pa se falar com eles), teremos tambem massagens ao vivo para quem se sentir tenso (deve ser!), Um tatuador (live performance, o gajo faz tatuagens de olhos fechados e mais, com os dedos dos pés consegue trabalhar 4 vezes mais rápido e a cores tambem)!!
